The first part of this structure was built in 1859 for Thomas Martin whose first tenant was J.T. Fitch. It was enlarged in 1866 and in 1872 J.T. Fitch bought it. Here until 1927 J.T. Fitch & Co., drapers, carried on business.
The site is now occupied by a Telstra Shop and barely recognisable.
